KFL & A Public Health does not specify whether the cases involved in the outbreak are those of staff and / or students.
According to the Eastern Ontario Public School Board, three classes are closed due to the outbreak, but no class cohort has been affected. The school remains open, according to the council.
There are currently 53 COVID-19 outbreaks in KFL & A, involving 246 active cases. Of these epidemics, 21 (or 39.6%) occur in schools in the region.
