Fulton Public Schools Distributing Improvement Surveys
Fulton Public Schools has subscribed to the K-12 Insight survey platform in support of the requirements of the district’s strategic plan and the Missouri 6 School Improvement Agenda.
Three surveys will be distributed to parents, students and staff this year, including the School Quality Survey, Employee Engagement Survey and Student Engagement Survey.
The following questions have been added to surveys in accordance with Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education and MSIP 6 standards:
- The school system ensures that student voices are heard and respected.
- The school system provides data on school culture and climate and reports periodically to all stakeholders.
- Educator teams create positive learning environments in the classroom.
Each survey includes national benchmark data from K-12 Insight partner customers and has been subjected to factor analysis to confirm validity and reliability.
The school board said the district and superintendent could use the surveys as a self-assessment tool.
Surveys will be distributed this month and will be administered again in the spring semester.
Feedback from the survey will be used to understand respondent perspectives and to support continuous improvement planning.
