Robert C. Byrd High School Hosts Vocalfest 2022

CLARKSBURG, WV — Robert C. Byrd High School held its 8th annual vocal festival on Saturday, with choirs performing across the state.

Vocalfest is where students in a tri-state area can sing, dance, play instruments, and perform for the local community.

Not only that, but competing students can get real-time feedback from judges across the country.

Eight high schools and one middle school all participated in Vocalfest 2022.

Additionally, the local community was able to get involved in selling various items and had food trucks available to purchase food.

“After about 2 years of not being able to play, do anything, it’s really exciting to finally get everyone together and show off our talent,” said Madelyn Armstrong, RCB Junior and Chief Hostess.

Armstrong said, “If you didn’t make it this year, come on next year, support us, the arts need it.”

As above, if you’re interested in future years’ show, be sure to check the RCB webpage next year for updates at: https://www.harcoboe.net/o/rcbhs
